NPEIV Certificate Program

The NPEIV Certificate is a program of the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence Across the Lifespan. This certificate program is open to anyone working in the field of interpersonal violence or is a graduate of/current student in a related field.  The Certificate Program focuses on various aspects of the Handbook of Interpersonal Violence and Abuse Across the Lifespan, which is a comprehensive state-of-the-science reference work for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers. It is written from a trauma-informed perspective and utilizes adverse childhood experiences research as its basic developmental framework along with the traumatic effects all forms of interpersonal violence tend to produce. With public health and social justice in mind, this human-rights based handbook also focuses on the overlap and continuum of the various types of interpersonal violence. It integrates all forms of interpersonal violence while dealing with key issues of intersectionality and systems responses. The Certificate Program is an opportunity to learn from the more than 400 expert authors of the Handbook who contributed 202 chapters, among other experts involved with NPEIV.

Participants who have successfully completed 8.0 hours of NPEIV trainings within 12 months are able to obtain a certificate*. The fee for the certificate is $70 for non-members of NPEIV and $10 for NPEIV members. Not yet a member of NPEIV? Pay for both the certificate and annual membership dues for only $50. If you believe you have met the criteria for the NPEIV Certificate, and would like to purchase one, please submit payment below and complete the form, including sessions and dates attended.
